SAT 1 FEBRUARY
8:00pm – Luigi Vescio | NOW this body WHAT
NOW this body WHAT is both defining and dissolving; at once a ritual site of queer play and a celebration of the radical happening. Choreography, light and spatial evolutions meet an atmosphere of experimental, ambient techno. Luigi Vescio and a collective of local artists will animate this durational consideration of performance, spectatorship and togetherness.

WED 5–SAT 8 FEBURARY
7:30pm – Samuel Harnett-Welk | GIRLKING
GIRLKING questions the role of discipline and function in dance, and expands on this question in abstracted ways. Set in an ultimate queer space, the work jumps in and out of conscious and manic deviations on ballet's ultimate structure: the ballet barre.

Presented as a double bill with The Venusian Slip
8:30pm – Harrison Hall, Harrison Ritchie-Jones, Andrew Treloar and Luigi Vescio | The Venusian Slip
The Venusian Slip guides the audience to meander through a series of surreal subconscious worlds where limiting structures begin to slip away. The points of view of four differently queer men offer ways of traversing masculine constructs. In this way, the performance exposes states of flux within present day masculinities, inverting dominant perspectives.

6:30–9:30pm – Christos Linou | The Naked Ambassadors
The Naked Ambassadors is a video installation examining the duality of the naked and the nude. Through the removal of clothes and accessories and the re-dressing of the body, the work suggests the struggle to embody identity beneath one’s outward appearance. Notions of risk and intimacy are established, and masculine stereotypes disrupted.
