In light of additional government restrictions to non-essential businesses yesterday, due to COVID-19, we are faced with delivering the unfortunate news that Temperance Hall will now close its doors to all activity until further notice.
Our staff and board are saddened by this announcement, as we understand the difficulties the arts industries are now adjusting to. We place the utmost responsibility on putting the health and safety of our artists, staff and the community first.
From Tuesday March 24 we will not be taking any bookings from external hirers and all artist activities will remain on hold until such further notice.
Our staff will move to operating remotely and we are all contactable over email. We will continue communications through our e-news and socials pages. We are turning this moment towards the positive and will be looking out for one another over the next few weeks and months.
Most importantly, we are looking forward to our community gaining confidence as we recover from this abrasive moment and welcome all back to Temperance Hall.
If you’re in Victoria, be sure to keep an eye on the Victorian Government’s dedicated page for COVID-19.
Best wishes for now,
From the Temperance Hall team.
